i don't really like talking about myself, and i don't think i really warrant a long-winded introduction... so here's the gist of it:

i'm a third year american studies major at the university of virginia, and i started this blog as a sort of escape from the mundanity of everyday life, and to have a place to catalog things i find beautiful/compelling/memorable etc.
